Trump Cuts US Funding to United Nations by $300M

Trump Cuts United Nations: President Donald Trump delivered a present to the American taxpayers on Christmas Eve, announcing a funding cut to the United Nations of nearly $300 million next year. While the cut is not exclusively to the benefit of American taxpayers, the United States is the biggest funder of the global body. Nikki Haley, the Trump administration's ambassador to the U.N., revealed the cut in a news release on Sunday.
