Academy Awards Hit Lowest Ratings Since 2008
Academy Awards Hit Lowest Ratings Since 2008:
The Nielsen Company reported on Monday that the Academy Awards broadcast hit its lowest level of viewership since 2008.
The show suffered a net loss of 3 million viewers from the broadcast in 2015: 'preliminary estimates showed 34.3 million people watched Sunday night's telecast, where 'Spotlight' won best picture. Last year's show was seen by 37.3 million people.'
And it gets worse.
