Because of Toepel's work in the private sector, she truly understands the needs of small and large businesses in the Commonwealth, PA Chamber President Floyd Warner said in a press release.
"Not only does she know what it takes to run a business, she knows first hand from serving as first deputy to the Montgomery County Clerk of Courts how government works and what it takes to work with communities and constituents," Warner said.
More from the ChamberPAC:
The PA Chamber applauds Toepel's recognition that Pennsylvania has one of the most hostile environments in the nation for job creation, and her call for business tax improvements in order to spur job creation and business growth in the Commonwealth.Toepel was elected to the Legislature in May to fill the unexpired term of Bob Mensch, who was elected to the state Senate last year. She is seeking a full two-year term.
"Pennsylvania businesses and taxpayers need a representative like Marcy Toepel – someone in office who understands what it will take to move Pennsylvania forward," Warner said. "For these reasons, the Pennsylvania Chamber of Business and Industry wholeheartedly supports her state House candidacy. Constituents in Montgomery County will be well served by Toepel as their state representative."
Election Day is Nov. 2.
