I rise to shine light on this process so that we can properly understand how a guilty verdict was reached in a case where Donald Trump did nothing illegal, immoral, or fattening.
A prosecution must satisfy conditions laid out in the Constitution, which is, should anyone forget, the highest law of the land. It specifies safeguards for the legal process. In the 5th Amendment, we find “No person… shall be deprived of life, liberty, or property without due process of law…” That due process is further defined in the 6th Amendment.

Today’s Democrat Party militates for increased governmental control over every aspect of our lives; limitations on free speech and freedom of the press; replacement of capitalism with socialism; replacing meritocracy with race-based criteria; a reduction of American power and influence; and a dysfunctional version of social justice.
If Democrats succeed in supplanting capitalism with socialism, the middle class will be taxed out of existence. The incentive to achieve will disappear, as it has in parts of Europe. When the productive segment of our population has had enough, they will pack up and leave and America will turn into Venezuela. This is already happening in California.

In the Foxhole with Donald Trump: For me, the worst part about New York’s Soviet show trial was how it tormented President Trump’s supporters. I kept an eye on numerous messaging boards as the Democrat jury wrapped up deliberations, and so many people were struggling in real-time with the likelihood that Trump would be found “guilty.” In some instances, I recognized the names of commenters who had been soberly pointing out how rigged the trial was for weeks yet nonetheless expressed agony at the inevitable result. Grief can be a tricky thing. Everyone understood that pathetic “Judge” Merchan presided over an un-American and unconstitutional spectacle engineered to deliver a guilty verdict, yet accepting that the expected outcome had, in fact, come to pass still felt like a sharp jab to the ribs.

To be clear: I, like most capital-C conservatives, do not fall in love with my candidates. I regard them as dispensers of policy. That’s it. If I like their policy, their personal peccadilloes mean very little to me. They affect me only to the extent they may affect policy. So this isn’t a lament that one Donald John Trump got a railroading. It’s a lament that a former American president — albeit the most conservative of my lifetime (yes, more than Reagan), whom I’d like very much to win in November — was so clearly lawfared by the sitting president into facing over a hundred years in prison for … something.

To Democrats, it isn’t how you play but whether you win or lose: During the 2012 presidential campaign, Democrat Sen. Harry Reid accused GOP nominee and former Massachusetts Governor Mitt Romney of not having paid taxes for ten years.
Reid conceded he had no proof, but spread the deceitful smear anyway. Though both Politifact and Washington Post “fact-checker” Glenn Kessler rightly decried Reid’s lie, much of the fake news media of the day amplified it. And Democrat Barack Hussein Obama won the election.
Years later, erstwhile office-holder Reid was unrepentant about his tactical perfidy. In a 2015 interview with admiring CNN personality Dana Bash, he asserted: “I don’t regret that at all.” He asked rhetorically about Romney: “He didn’t win, did he?”
Every intelligent observer understood Trump’s New York trial was a Potemkin one, and all honest commenters will say as much. I just did.

Vote for the convicted felon: Would you vote for a convicted felon like Trump? Earlier polls had mixed results, indicating only marginal changes in voting behavior after a conviction. But now it’s a done misdeed, indications are that a vast majority will answer “yes.”
Actually, while by no means “scientific,” the response to this informal poll conducted by Kenny Polcari of Slatestone Wealth management, can be described as “hell, yes!”
And why not? It sure is more transparent than voting for an untried and unconvicted criminal like Clinton or Joe Biden.
