Rep. Doug Reichley (R-Berks/Lehigh) and Sen. Pat Browne (R-16) will co-host a Kids Discovery Expo from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 12, at the DaVinci Discovery Center of Science and Technology, 3145 Hamilton Boulevard Bypass in Allentown.
The event is free to the public and there will be complimentary refreshments, entertainment and door prizes. The event will feature exhibitors and booths with information for children, parents and guardians.
The event is geared toward providing information on state programs to help families during the difficult economic times as well as providing outreach to 134th District constituents in a fun and entertaining manner. Visitors can check out the Fire Safety House provided by the Burn Foundation.
"This has been a wonderful even the past couple years," said Reichley. "DaVinci Discovery Center is a great museum to have in our region. If you have not been there, please take this opportunity to visit."
