Rep. Kate Harper to host telephone town hall
State Rep. Kate Harper, R-61st Dist., plans to hold a telephone town hall meeting from 7 to 8 p.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 9.
Harper will answer questions on the state budget impasse, now in its third month, education funding, taxes, environmental initiatives and road projects, among other issues, according to The Norristown Times Herald.
To participate in the telephone town hall, constituents can phone in and simply listen in on the call or ask questions of the lawmaker. To participate, call 1-877-229-8493 toll free, then enter the code 13162 anytime between 7 and 8 p.m. on Sept. 9during the live event.
The 61st Dist. covers North Wales Borough and portions of Montgomery, Plymouth, Towamencin, Upper Gwynedd, Lower Gwynedd and Whitpain townships.
