PA GOP: Time for Obama 'Green Czar' Van Jones to Go

Of all the left-wing kooks Obama has brought into his administration, Van Jones appears to be the worst.

The Republican Party of Pennsylvania is calling for Obama to fire Jones from his position as the administration's "Green Czar" in this press release issued today:
PA GOP: Time For Obama Green Czar Van Jones To Go!

If President Obama truly cared about bipartisanship, he would fire Van Jones today

HARRISBURG - Republican Party of Pennsylvania Chairman Rob Gleason released the following statement regarding Van Jones, the man that President Barack Obama chose to serve as his "green jobs" czar.

"Van Jones, a self-avowed communist, has a history of radical behavior and I do not believe his recent apology for calling Republicans a profane name was sincere in the least," Gleason said. "It has become clear that President Obama maintains close relationships with people who have radical views about our country and clearly aren’t concerned with resolving our country’s issues in a bipartisan manner. Jones serves as a close advisor to the White House in a position where he was not elected or confirmed to serve.

"President Obama should remove Van Jones from this position immediately."

Fox News uncovered video of Obama Green Job Czar Van Jones disparaging Republicans at an energy lecture in Berkeley, California in February. During the seminar, Jones was asked why President Obama and Democrats in Washington were having trouble moving legislation, especially considering Republicans, with a smaller majority, didn't have the same difficulties during the Bush administration.

Jones replied, "Well, the answer to that is, they're a--holes. That's a technical, political science term."

Additionally, it was revealed yesterday that Van Jones joined the "9/11 truther" movement in 2005 by signing a petition calling for an investigation into evidence that suggests "people within the current administration may indeed have deliberately allowed 9/11 to happen, perhaps as a pretext for war."
