77: “Reform Now!”

This has really gotten into our blood! We have been energized by the voting public of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania who have taken severe steps of late to salvage the Keystone Ship of State.

The movement, begun last summer in the wake of the outrageous pay raise voted by the General Assembly with the complicity of the Governor and the State Supreme Court, made an impact last November by ousting a sitting Supreme Court Judge. Earlier this month, an even greater impact was felt by the establishment political parties that effectively declared business as usual a thing of the past.

We presented the "Roadmap to Reform" [from Tim Potts at DemocracyRisingPA] here a few days back in GettysBLOG 156: “Roadmap to Reform”.

Thus it is with great pleasure that we present what we hope will quickly become the Reform campaign symbol:

Reminiscent of the courage and perseverance displayed by the Iraqi people in several nationwide elections in the past year when they voted in the face of, and in defiance of the terrorists that were killing their own people, we pay tribute to them, and to our own Pennsylvania voters who have the courage to attain true reform.

Let’s look for millions of purple fingers this coming November, as a sure sign that support exists for real reform in Pennsylvania!

We’re working on buttons!
