'Clash of the Titans' continues 3-D streak at No. 1

"Clash of the Titans" topped the box office on Easter weekend with an estimated $61.4 million, according to BoxOfficeMojo.com

This marks the 12th consecutive week in which a 3-D release has finished No. 1 in the weekend box-office competition, 7 weeks for "Avatar," 3 weeks for "Alice in Wonderland," 1 week for "How to Train Your Dragon" and 1 week for "Clash of the Titans."

"Titans" also scored well overseas, earning another $44.2 million in international markets.

And how about that Sam Worthington. A virtual unknown a few months ago, he now stars in back-to-back Hollywood blockbusters, "Avatar" and "Clash of the Titans."

Below are the weekend Top 5 Studio Estimates for the weekend of April 2-4. Final numbers will be released Monday afternoon.
