Will Bush-bashing 'peace activists' now protest Obama?

A group of Chester County "peace demonstrators" regularly protested George W. Bush for 7 years over the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan.

Now that Obama is planning to escalate the war in Afghanistan, will the "peace activists" demonstrate against the chosen one?

The answer isn't clear in this article in the West Chester Daily Local News.

From reporter Dan Kristie:
Karen Porter, the founder and organizer of the Chester County Peace Movement, said that Obama's decision has irritated many of his supporters. It may, she said, reinvigorate peace protesters who, assuming that Obama would bring peace, packed up their picket signs after he was inaugurated.

During the Bush years, the Peace Movement rallies were well-attended. But the number of demonstrators decreased after Obama was elected.

Porter said that she disagrees with Obama's decision to send more troops. But, she added, she opposes the war, not the president.

"I am a very loyal Obama supporter, and I don't want to undermine his presidency," Porter said. "But I will object strongly to the situation in Afghanistan."
