Libertarians join Tea Party protests

The Libertarian Party of Pennsylvania plans to participate in several upcoming Pennsylvania Tax Day Tea Parties.

From the Libertarian Party of Pennsylvania:
"The Libertarian Party has been at the fore-front of the effort to limit government taxation, spending and control," said Doug Leard, LPPa media relations chairman. "These protests demonstrate that more and more Americans are growing frustrated with the tax and spend policies of government bureaucrats, and are coming to share these goals."

Organized by the Nationwide Tea Party Coalition, the Tax Day Tea Parties will be a grass-roots protest focused on the theme of Repeal the Pork, Cut Taxes and Spending.
More than 500 Tax Day Tea Parties are planned across the country including protests in every state, according to organizers. In Pennsylvania alone, there are 31 rallies planned. February Tea Parties took place in 40 cities across the country with nearly 30,000 Americans taking part in the protests.
