Poll Finds Strong Support for New Pennsylvania Voter ID Law

There's no question that the new Pennsylvania Voter ID law has turned into a political football. Democrats found eight people to sue the state claiming their right to vote will be suppressed. Never mind the fact that all eight plaintiffs have or were able to get a valid photo ID card. The facts don't matter here.

This is a party with a long history of voter fraud in places like Philadelphia maintaining the status quo.

Before the Pennsylvania Supreme Court rules on the matter, the justices, who are elected, should keep in mind that a new poll commissioned by the Democratic Party-friendly Philadelphia Inquirer found that nearly 7 in 10 Pennsylvania residents support the new law.

Whatever short-term benefit the justices may think they will get from big-money Philadelphia Democrats will be canceled out in the end by voters who are tired of activist judges usurping the authority of elected legislators and the governor.
