Legislature tackles priorities

What is the most expensive state legislature in the country working on, you ask?

Which critical issue is the Legislature addressing today?

This just in: House Bill 621 designating and adopting the Eastern Box Turtle (Terrapene carolina carolina) as the official reptile for the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania passed on a 177-17 vote.

It now goes to the state Senate for consideration.

There could be a problem though. State Sen. Gene Yaw has introduced a bill in the Senate to designate the Eastern timber rattlesnake (Crotalus horridus horridus) as the official state reptile.

Looks like it could go to a conference committee.
