Reichley to host Senior Expo on Oct. 16

State Rep. Doug Reichley (R-Berks/Lehigh) will hold a Senior Expo from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 16, at Lower Macungie Township Community Center, 3400 Brookside Road, Macungie.

Senior citizens and family members living in the 134th Legislative District are invited to attend the event, which features more than 40 exhibitors who will be able to provide information and answer questions from older citizens and their families about local and state government programs and services available in the private sector that can help older Pennsylvanians.

"I look forward each year to learning about new services that are available locally and meeting with the many people who enjoy attending the expo," Reichley said in a press release. "We bring together so many providers into a one-stop shop that it is becoming a must-attend annual event."

Booths will be set up to provide free information to those senior citizens who can attend. Exhibitors will distribute brochures, offer services and answer questions about what they can do to assist older Pennsylvanians.

The event is co-hosted by LutherCrest Retirement Community and sponsored by St. Luke's Hospital and Health Network.
